Visited #wpldn meetup, but skipped the merrier part. This meetup really answered my question when I have to go mobile again. I mean – to start tinker mobile RWD versions for a project I am currently immersed into.
I’d like to say Big Thanks to Jack Barham for sharing very nice mobile development template. The js360 thingy is exactly what answers my old question of how many photos is enough to create the 360 degrees rotating image.

The best solution I know is run by guys from Mart Technology Ltd. They have a product called Delegate Select. It allows you to integrate business appointment management routines into your website. It comes at a price, but it is cost-effective comparing to your potential development costs.
For small scale events you can try Events plugin for WordPress.
It also looks like there is no appointment manager for WordPress that is multilingual-aware.
